At Aura Origins, our journey began like any other classic start-up story—a spark of inspiration, a dose of courage, and a relentless desire to make things better. But in our story, that spark ignited in the midst of corporate burnout and a soul-searching trip to South America. There, the firsthand experience of the harsh realities behind mass-produced coffee—unfair wages for farmers and environmental strains hidden in every cup was enough to fuel the need for a revolution.

Fueled by a mission to revolutionize the coffee industry, we spent months searching for the perfect solution. But the more we explored, the more we realized—we didn’t need to tweak the old formula, we needed to flip the script entirely. That’s when we turned to the incredible power of nootropic mushrooms, blending them with high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients to create something better. The result? Ethical Sourcing

We believe lasting impact starts at the source.

That's why we advocate for the ethical sourcing of our products from small and medium-sized coffee farmers and our mushrooms locally grown and harvested in the US to boost economic growth, fair trade practices, and equal opportunities.

We select partners based on four essential criteria: fair business practises, transparency, sustainability, and social responsibility. By prioritizing these values, we ensure our sourcing practices support marginalized communities, enhance farmer livelihoods, and contribute to a more equitable and sustainable future.

Empowering farmers, one cup at a time

For many of us coffee is just an end product and a daily essential that fuels our day, but at Aura Origins coffee is about people.

We believe that if we can empower those at the start of the supply chain then we can level the playing field in an industry with complex challenges.

Aura Origins advocates for circular, sustainable practices where small scale farmers are trained and supported to meet industry demands, allowing for diversification of the supply chain and ensuring quality is not compromised with harmful chemicals and fertilisers commonly used by a larger farms to meet demand.

Our climate footprint matters to us, which is why we ensure that our values are aligned with the partners that we do business with. We are proud to be part of a climate positive initiative which has to date offset over 9 tonnes of CO2.
